Dummies Guide To Whining

Welcome back to Part II of the Dummies Guide To Whining like a little b**tch about everybody's favorite franchise - Robotech!

SMALL RECAP

Yesterday, I discussed in detail how to be a fair "whiner" - All ya gotta do is simply have a well-backed up rant. Your research data however, must be one of logic and not stupidity. Determing that The Shadow Chronicles or TSC is a failure due to little or no increase in web activity (and basing your facts on web-activity research site Alexa.com -ed) is not logical.

Simply because that casual fans are not like hardcore fans, who would go out of their way to seek Robotech, especially after watching something like Shadow Chronicles, which, in all fairness (again -ed) isn't that spectacular a film. Please. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT. I've learned my share.

What the Creative Director sees himself in the mirror
every morning.

"Don't screw with the Robotech Adonis."

SHORT LESSON FOR TODAY:
PITFALLS IN RANTING ABOUT TSC

When ranting about TSC, there are several "ratholes" (term courtesy of Mr. Ueki -ed) that you must avoid or face another "shoot yourself in the foot" scenario. Mind you, the issues may have been discussed yesterday.

"It's not Robotech enough!"

This may have been discussed yesterday, but don't say that without proper backing. People would assume all you want from Robotech is more Macross-ness.

Simply put, TSC fans would go on a rampage complaining on how everyone seems to want TSC to be more Macross. Elaborate. Why is it not Robotech enough? It has the music, the mecha and the characters - you decide on why is it not Robotech enough. Just don't let the TSC fans say that all you want out of any future Harmony Gold products is more Macross. I find that deeply insulting.

"TSC's CG is bad."

Duh. We all know that.

Problems arise though, when people say they actually like it.

"TSC is not comparable to other franchises"

This is the "motherload" or the comment in which to end all comments. Stating this comment will lead you to the "Gundam Rathole" in which the ranter would whine about why TSC cannot have as much movies or series or toys as the ever popular Gundam franchise.

I find this to be the (sorry -ed) dumbest thing a fan could say in defending his or her position on why TSC is not a good piece of animation. God, man - don't the people who say these have the brain as to why this isn't the case with Robotech? You don't have to be an anti or pro Yunetech fan to understand that Robotech will never be a Gundam. Or a Starwars for that matter. And that leads me the other related rathole...

"TSC is a failure, it should not be continued"

This is yet another comment which I find to be rather... sad, when used by fellow ranters of The Shadow Chronicles. First of all, whatever your position is to TSC, it will continue with or without your approval. Suck it up. You know who you are.

This statement would also be fodder for ardent fans of TSC to use the "Would you rather have Robotech 3000 or Sentinels" defense. Do not answer that with a yes or a no - it is a trap set by fans in order for them to gain the upper ground by stating that they would prefer TSC since it continues the storyline of Robotech.

You will face a losing battle here. I'm sorry, that's reality.

OTHER LESSONS

One thing I noticed, but will not specify, is the ranters... well... not very good grammar. I don't want to name names, but how can one defend oneself if one cannot articulate one's position? (that's a lot of ones -ed) You don't have to be a master of the English language, you just have to construct sentences better. This is more of a pet peeve actually.

Childish insults - will also destroy whatever shred of credibility you have. That is the truth, and yet people keep doing it. It is not helping anybody. How do you stop this? By being open-minded. Just because somebody supports TSC, doesn't mean he has to be the enemy. That is life, and that is what my philosophi teacher, Mr. Leoncini, taught me - that everybody has a different belief system and set of opinions.

If you're going to remain closed minded about that prospect, then nobody will rally to your support.

The only real enemy to humanity is of course, the Creative Director. But - do not fall into the rathole by branding fans of his works as Yune-fans or some other derogatory term. Not good.

WHY SO MUCH HATRED TOWARD THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Well, aside from having his own rubber stamp to approve bad merchandise such as the comics and the Masterpiece Collection toys, he is also running the show with TSC. Any directing decisions have to go through him - and many of decisions happen to be bad ones.

Yes, the directing chair of TSC is most likely run by a committee of Tom Bateman, Creative Director, That Web Guy, etc, but I'm pretty sure that the Creative Director has final say.

So yes, this is the man who decided to off a comic relief like Alex Romero. Brilliant move - I bet you Robert Rodriguez would be proud. He definitely took a page from Rick MacCallum's wonderful directing.

BTW, this my analysis isn't fool-proof - so expect people to still hate you for what you represent!

Blibberish Blabby & Some Art!

Greetings and salutations my dear friends! Boy am I glad to be typing today's thread? You know why? Because I may be getting burned out by the frickin' franchise, that's what! Why does it have to be this way? Why Creative Director? You seem like a nice guy in Talkshoe. But why? Why did you greenlight those mediocre Robotech comics and other merchandise? I really want to appreciate the things you did to resurrect Robotech, but I can't.

Please Creative Director. Please listen. If you have even a small fragment of humility and concience, please do something to stop the torture. God knows I've tried to forget. I've painted, ranted, taunted, eated... wait, that's not a word. Bah. I'm tired of ranting for now. Let's talk about something pleasant for a change.

GOOD NEWS?

Finally, some progress is being made with my art. And man, does my art suck or what? The brushes I use are wrong, there is no visible focal point, the lighting is bad, oh Creative Director, save me from my lack of artistic talent! I would try to take the time to read those art tutorials, but for some reason I am just too freakin' lazy to search tutorials in Google or Deviantart.

AGGGH! Why? Why can't I be innately good like the Creative Director in drawing, inking and coloring? I'm pretty sure there are artist out there who have the gift to paint anything there heart's desire, yet here I am, struggling to learn. LEARN, muthaflippers! Why must I face hardships? It's not like Harmony Gold ever faced any hardships in bringing that Shadows Chronicles movie out of the door or something?!

My joy. My sadness. My art.

So I am cursed. What will be my lucky charm? Perhaps I should recite an ancient Mayan incantion, or perhaps... juju? Something to relieve me of this artistic weakness I am now facing. (Take a chill pill you dumbsh*t - Kevin McKeever, Harmony Gold Marketing Coordinator) Yes, good people like Lynn have given me support in my art, and I thank you, but is that enough for me to truly rid myself of these demons?

I am not emo. Who the f*ck said I am emo?
(You just admitted it you prick - Tommy Yune, Creative Director of Harmony Gold)

Maybe there is no cure. Perhaps... I am merely a hypochondriac. A man filled with adult angst - perhaps I am scared of what the future might bring. Or maybe I just like to say crap so my blog would look like it actually contains something more interesting than the Creative Director's resume (Will you stop blaming everything on me, you ignorant sonavab**ch? - Tommy Yune, Creative Director of Harmony Gold) Perhaps I am afraid to face the real demons of my little world - The demon known as El Tommiblobby and his assistant demon, Kevin Sorbo.

THE DEMONS HAVE DISAPPEARED, THANK THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

You know, one day I will go over my entire blog, and laugh. Oh my Lord, I wrote all this? And to think, nothing has changed in the Robotech community. (How do you know, f**ing c**t? - Dommy Yune, Italian Brother to Tommy Yune, Has ties to North Korean Warlord) It's still a boring, dead place where you can discuss such wonderful topics such as, "We Owe the Creative Director For Resurrecting Robotech". (I did! - Tommy Yune, Creative Blah Blah)

SHADOW CHRONICLES ARTBOOK COMMENT

Is it me, or am I looking for a lovemaking scene involving Dr. Louie Nichols and Janice? There's something poignant about a nerd making love to his computer. I truly thank the Creative Director for fulfilling this sicko fantasy. It's not like this idea has been dealt with before in science fiction, right?

Sexy robots indeed.
No, I'm not a Robosexual.

Screw you, Asmiov.

SENTINELS ARTBOOK

One of these days, I'll get working on it. I'll also consider the suggestions The Tech Guy gave me.

NOTICE SOMETHING?

I've been posting straight ever since I came back. Time to stop. I must. It seems to me that the Robotech community is dead and further postings would mean I am shouting all my insanities into the great dark void of the net. So be prepared! I will repress myself from posting tomorrow! I know no one will stop me. MWAHAHAHAHA!

The Stupid, Preposterous and Worthless Art of MedMapGuy

Thank the Creative Director for the wonderful things he has brought on this world! The Shadow Chronicles film! The countless memorable comics! The priceless toys and figures! The classic videogames!

I'd rather shoot myself in the foot.

What he has done is produce a lazy fandom. A fandom unwilling to dedicate a portion of their time to create. I repeat myself ad nauseum with this drivel.

It can't all be Harmony Gold's Creative Director's fault in producing such a dead fandom. I know. Money, Deadlines and Lawyers - so many factors plagued Robotech's troubled revival at the beginning of the second millenium. I wasn't there, but for some reason...

I JUST KNOW

But what if? What if Love & War... What if Invasion, were really excellent comics, with great stories? What if they were stories that expanded the scope of Robotech, rather than merely filling in the backgrounds of fold characters and sidekicks?

I could go on, but you know what I have to say about the rest of the Creative-Director-approved products of late.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH

Would there be half as much... dissatisfaction as I feel now about this franchise? But not all feel this way. You hover around the forums of Robotech sites and people are perfectly satisfied with what they have. Have our standards lowered so much that the saying "it's better than no Robotech at all" become our mantra in life?

Is this the lesson the Creative Director has taught us during his interviews in Talkshoe? Please, someone, wake me up from this nightmare!

NOWHERE MAN

It seems I may be alone in my endeavors. I know, it may seem selfish and egotistical for me to think so, but could this be the way Carl Macek, the visionary thought when he turned Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada into the show we call Robotech today, began?

And so, here I am. With my Stupid, Preposterous and Worthless Art. To show this... Creative Director... that I, MedMapGuy, am and will not beaten! (Despite saying that a few times before -ed) You, my dear Creative Director, will not deter me with your mediocre wares, which has sullied the name of Robotech for almost a decade!

A piece I did in Quingdao, China - while I was lying on my bed thinking about how boring it was there. The Beta indeed was a behemoth... A thing of beauty indeed. This piece was inspired by the Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance introduction cutscene... The idea of this massive beast stomping in a forest proved far too irrestistable for me.

Southern Cross. Veritech Logan.  Mention these words in the forums of the Land of Eternal Sunshine and Smiles and you will be greeted with disgust and disdain. Yet here I am, drawing it to the best of my abilities - to show these disbelievers that I do love Southern Cross, and I love the Logan. Yes, it too, is a thing of power and beauty to my eyes. If you still hold fast to your belief that Macross or the New Generation is the coolest thing in the Awareness' green earth, then I challenge you to open your mind.

Curse the Creative Director, the lawyers and the suits of Harmony Gold for not caring about the Southern Cross property.

Marie Doesn't Like Me

Shut up, Marie Crystal. You're my favorite character, and you'll do as I say. For I am the artist here.
When I say strip. You'll reply with, "Yes, Master". You get me?!

Okay, so by now, I must've turned off half of my audience members already. But what else is new? With the way I write and rant, I must've turned off 80% of my original audience weeks ago! So, hello new audience! And hello, Marie Crystal!

Moving on, you can see with these disturbing new poster I wish I could use to advertise my blog. This poster is based on my unhealthy obsession with the Southern Cross Saga's side character. A side character. READ MY BOLDFACED TEXT - A SIDE CHARACTER NAMED MARIE CRYSTAL. I understand people liking Robotech New Generation's Princess Sera or Ariel or even the Pepsi-Cola Machine, but her?! Why?!

Maybe... Maybe... Subconciously, Marie Crystal the character is telling me... Telling me... Stop... Stop... Mr. MapGuy... Stop drawing me... (What did I tell you about Med's insanity? -ed)

Less than .1% of the world's population know who the heck Marie Crystal is, so I think it won't fly.

IN OTHER NEWS

Next week, I will be announcing what I will do in my last few days here. Tune in that time. Please. Robotech is dying, don't look at it any other way.

ADMIRAL HUNTER'S DESIGN SUCKS

I don't know who to get angry at. Tatsunoko? Harmony Gold's Creative Director? That Marketing Guy? Who the f*** made Admiral Hunter look the way he does?

Listen, Harmony Gold, and whoever controls the place (which I dub in Engrish, "Place of Wonderous Happiness" - Do you realize what you've done? You've made it impossible for people to draw Admiral Hunter. He just doesn't look right. He looks bad, bad, bad. The hair is tough to get right. The chin is so wide set. It's only because of being a hardcore fan did I get used to the design, but not too much.

Is it too hard to just give Hunter a wig? Or bigger sideburns? Why? Why did you torture future generations who will make Robotech Fan Art (That's a laugh -ed) suffer by drawing this hideously disfigured demi-human?

Listen, Creative Director, if you are reading this... Improve the site! MWAHAHAA! You thought I was going to rant about Admiral Hunter's design again, huh? No, I rant about the "Place of Wonderous Happiness", upgrade the f***ing place.

I Got Nothing. Or Do I?

Just quoting good ol' Justy Ueki from the internet radio show RDF Underground (www.rdfunderground.com). I'm planning some big announcements (at least, in my mind they're big) next week involving what I will do in the last few days I will spend at home before I go out of the country next month.

I'M LEAVING ON A JET... SCREW IT.

Oh yeah! I must've mentioned this before in passing, but I'm not going to be here for the whole part of April and May! Yep. I will be somewhere, learning new life lessons and other real life crap. So what does that mean, my very small audience?

Yep. No more me. Ranting. Posting. Anything.

It also means that I will have an even harder time trying to find a bigger audience because while I'm gone, YOU, will be gone. Great, huh? I go to all the trouble to make myself known, and now I got to leave and then destroy everything I worked for. I will start at square one when I get back. My viewcount will restart to zero. Whoohoo! Bah!! The viewcount for my blog is a mere number. What does it matter?

Wait. It does! I want to be heard! I want to be known! I want to be like Harmony Gold's Creative Director! I want to be INFAMOUS!

Not all is lost! Perhaps, I could... find an internet cafe or something while I'm out... So I could post here and there... But then, how interesting would that be? Of course it would. What? Why? Are y'all sayin' you all just come around Studio MMG Blog just to see if done make some half-naked Lisa Hayes or Marie Crystal picture?! Grr...

THAT'S IT! SO YOU GO HERE FOR HALF NAKED ROBOTECH CHARACTERS??! WELL, HERE IT IS, BUB!

NOW HOW DO YA LIKE DEM' STERLING?! Perhaps this will teach you whippersnappers that Studio MMG isn't some soft-core site! Huh?!

Damn. Okay. I better finish this blog entry because as I type this, Max Sterling's crotch area is right in my face.

SO WHAT NOW? TUNE IN TOMORROW!

Next day. Viewcount = 0

The End.

Ranting Corner: Look What Happens...

Damnit! I don't know what drove me to draw Lisa Hayes like this, but I think I will blame boredom. And sadness.

SEE HARMONY GOLD?! BECAUSE OF YOU, I DRAW LISA HAYES IN A RED BIKINI! DAMN YOU!

Y'see, I listened to the Tommy Yune impromptu interview on Robotech_Master, a.k.a. Chris Meadow's internet radio show and well... it depressed me to listen to it. It was mentioned (sort of) that the future is not bright for Southern Cross fans. It will be for New Generation (or Genesis Climber Mospeada) fans, but not for me, a Masters Saga fan.

I mean, if you're a NewGen fan, sheeeeet! You have Shadow Chronicles which is heavily influenced by NewGen design elements and characters. You have cellphone games based on NewGen, You have NewGen toys coming out too!

But Southern Cross fans?

Nada. Screw yourself for liking that part of Robotech.

Wow, hearing Tommy beat around the bush on that topic made me cry out in despair. Why? Why does this have to happen? Why can't someone speak for Southern Cross fans in Harmony Gold?

Okay, Tommy, Steve, Tom, etc. are all either Macross or NewGen fans. I know that. We all know that (And don't give me crap that they lick all Sagas equally).

So how can Southern Cross fans better represent themselves in this heartless corporation? Why, by... err...

That's it! Being a member of the Officer's Lounge! Why the heck didn't I think of it before?! I'm not a Seargent, so it would probably take me four years to get to Commander, then I'll bug Steve Yun to promote me.  I'll then have access to the Officer's Lounge.

HAHA! It's a good day to be a Southern Cross fan!

(He's nut, sorry about that -ed

Ranting Corner: Welcome to Hell!

Yesterday, I reached my highest  viewcount since I started this insane blog (Don't worry, the numbers crashed the very next day to zero). What does that mean? That Tommy Yune might actually be looking and reading my inane comments? No. It means that there might actually be NON-ROBOTECH people looking at this blog! Gosh! Do you people know what the hell you are getting into?!? The Robotech "fandom" is by far the most disappointing group you could possibly get into. Why? Let me explain in my almost unimitable fashion.

First of all, when I say disappointing fandom, I mean the utter lack of any high profile fan projects, the mediocre Harmony Gold-sponsored bulletin board/ webstore I like to call Robotech.com, and the general tendency for people to not comment on my blog. I know, sad, isn't it (could be you, meddy - mckeever)?

Well, it sort of gets worse. Harmony Gold is bankrupt. No, no! Not financially. Okay, maybe. I say bankrupt because... Hmm... The site will never be updated with new features (a common complaint in the Robotech forums -ed). That's one. Two... Nobody actually cares! In fact, they would say that those who complain is but a very vocal minority.

True. VERY TRUE, right? But then, look. Look at the site. Look at the Fan art/fic/section. It's a mess. It's ugly. It looks like shit. Nobody goes there. You can't comment, you can't do shit.

Now I'm not completely full of crap. I offered this suggested look for the fan section on the site. Did I get a reply? Well, it's been a month and... Nothing! Now all you naysayers, do you see why I rant? Not even a reply fromt the elusive 'Steve Yun'. Just some nice comments from Commanders, but that's it. I feel that even they think they are powerless. I mean, wow, they're Commanders, and nobody listens to them?

Now I ask, is it too hard to upgrade Robotech.com from the proverbial online store, to the international hub of the Robotech fandom and community? Harmony Gold thinks so.

Maybe the reason why people avoid the Robotech site is because of the design. It looks as dated as my Betamax player (Black, and ugly). What? Is the world lacking in webdesigners now? Is Steve and Tommy (minus Kevin the marketer) the only people running the site? Why not hire a cheap Indian or Filipino or Korean graphics artist / webdeveloper to come up with a spiffy new design? These guys are starving artists looking for a job.

Get rid of the ugly black, or stick with it to go with the Shadow theme. Just modernize the site! Stop planning these events that only a hundred few would actually enjoy! Hey, Funimation's got Harmony Gold's back now, right? So there! I'm sure there's some funds left to improve this site!

I know, Robotech isn't the strongest franchise out there - but an ugraded site will definitely help.

What's that Harmony Gold? Afraid that if you change the site, I'll still be here ranting about it? Not at all! Show the fans your proposed changes. Ask them what you think! The Captains keep bragging how strong the fandom is, so ask their fucking opinion on what changes they want to see! Don't go, "Well, if we do that, you'll still be complaining"

I say screw you for not even trying.

I GOT THAT OFF MY CHEST

But again. I will not anticipate anything. This is truly a disappointing 'fandom', and I have learned the hard way. You have to learn that nobody cares. That everybody is satisfied in their little Harmony Gold world.

If I angered some folks with this rant, SORRY. But I since none of you ever express any of your opinions on my blog anyway, I never know what any of you feel. If you're gonna troll or flame me for this, shove it, and go to your nearing Robotech convention near you.

TOMORROW!

If in case I lost 90% of my viewers by tomorrow due to today's rantings, I will still be posting here. I will post about RDF Underground, my fanfilm, Live Action Novel, and many more!

Ranting Corner: Damn you, Harmony Gold!

I never really categorized my rants, unlike the way I do with the News from the Fandom sections. Introducing, the Ranting Corner!

Where's my Shadow Chronicles?! YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAARGH!! I'm as mad as Breetai! And this time, I'm not letting an overgrown slug get in the way of my ranting! RAWWWWWRRMEOWMEOWMEOW!!!!

It's already been more than a month since the release of the film and soundtrack in the States, and I missed a lot of Shadow Chronicles discussion on that Online Store you call a site, Robotech.com!

Next time, HG - get your distribution deal right. Release the film simultaneously worldwide or I'll download your next feature faster than the Regent on crack. Yeah, I'm pointing the finger here.

Oh, don't act so surprised. In this day and age, what do you expect?

Do you honestly think Hardcore fans like me (read: insane, lacks mental capacity to think like a decent human being -ed) would just wait around for a film to be released in their country, while the rest of the United States enjoys debating and talking about it? Ha! What a laugh.

Because of you, my rants and praises on the film will be considered passe, out of fashion! Damn you.

Udon Article Delayed Again, DVD Out, Mindless Babble Continues

Another day of nothing for me. While everyone in America and Australia rushes to big name retailers to grab their copies, I'm stuck here, typing in my school's computer, waiting for nothing.

Actually, I found some interesting articles to read on Wikipedia. Here's one on the history of Battletech:

Eventually, by the year 2366, only six major governments remained, all of which were ruled by essentially feudal systems of government, with thrones inherited and passed down generation to generation. The Terran Hegemony, ruled by House Cameron, was at the centre of it all, ruling a rough sphere centred around Terra, and clockwise around that, there was House Kurita's Draconis Combine, House Davion's Federated Suns, House Liao's Capellan Confederation, House Marik's Free Worlds League, and House Steiner's Lyran Commonwealth. These nations may have remained fairly stable, but they were incessantly at each other's throats, seeking every advantage they could find on the fields of battle.

For some reason, this blurb reminded me of The Southern Cross Saga, where the government used a feudal form of control in the post-apocalyptic Earth (Rain of Death aftermath). Monument would have been the central city, with other places like Stone City and others forming city-states or some crap like that. I know the term was tossed around quite liberally in the show, but since this idea was presented in Battletech, maybe it could be used for Robotech as well. Who cares if the idea of a feudal form of government is a little ambiguous and shit?

Does the idea work for the show though? Does it fit with what we see? No. But that's the beauty of it. Because it's so freakin' pointless.

One could point out that this had something to do with the Original Source Material of the Southern Cross Saga, a.k.a. Super Dimensional Cavalry: The Southern Cross. From what I heard somewhere, the government seen in that show was only recently unified to fight the alien threat known as Zor. Before that, there was conflict between certain sides.

But really, we're talking about Robotech, so we stick with Robotech. I'm so tired of hearing that crap about Robotech being based on original 80's Japanese anime. I get it, okay? Why not stay on topic and talk about it rather than point out this irritating technicality. Robotech is Robotech, it's been twenty years, so get over it, ya fucking purist.

Just kidding. I love the Original Source Material, even though I've only seen the first three episodes of Mospeada (some jackass removed it from Youtube) but at least I've seen the whole Super Dimension Fortress: Macross. I'm just so sick and tired of hearing people point out Robotech's technicalities. And I'm sick and tired of talking about it, so moving on!

Now you may be wondering why I have a picture of Winry Rockbell in my Robotech blog. Well, I don't have a reason. I just like to put a picture of frickin' Winry in my blog, is that so bad? None of you who are reading this will ever reply anyway so I might as well place this pic here to see if you actually do, or something. And since no one has made screen caps of the Robotech: Shadow Chronicles DVD yet, I'm limited to getting shots of other anime shows for the time being. Man, I can't wait to see the new Regess (or Regis), Queen of the Invid Swarm. Man, I can't wait to have those shots which show her ginormous racks. Thanks Tommy and Korea! Just what we needed, fanservice with the Regess! Now I know Tommy said it wasn't his fault this happened, but still, when these guys were test screening their film in these giant theatres (or giant Plasma screens), they shoulda said, hey! I'm getting turned on by looking at the Regess! This is wrong! Change it! Change it!!!!!!!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

But that didn't happened. So now what? Could future Robotech films suffer the supposed Lara Croft-syndrome? Y'see, in the wait, you do know who Lara Croft is right? Yeah, she starred in those Tomb Raider games and movies. Anyway, when Tomb Raider was released in the mid 90's, people were stunned she had these giant... breasts. Then, later incarnations of the game like Tomb Raider II, III and IV featured Ms. Croft with smaller and smaller boobies. Uhuh, they became smaller.

Now could Robotech be following this trend? Who knows? As far as I know, they'll get bigger. Y'see, that's the thing I noticed about Korean artists. Now, I won't point out an actual show by Koreans or work were females breasts get bigger, but I'll point out their fetish for giant hooters. There's this one artist, Hyung-Tae Kim, who made much of the art for the game Magna Carta: Tears of War. Really, really exquisite art, and the way he captures the female form is perfect. But something is wrong... Yes, the breast of the female characters are about as big as their heads. Now one

might point out that the Japanese do it all the time. For legit stuff and most obviously, for their pornographic stuff. But I have found books. Graphic design books, sites and graphic design magazines which seem to show Korean artists drawing women with big, big, big boobies.

So my point is, if Harmony Gold is going to continue to rely on Korean animation houses, expect gigantic breasts from future appearances of Lisa Hayes, Dana Sterling, etc.

Going beyond breasts, we have the fact that I have yet to receive a reply if Robotech_Master, a.k.a. Chris Meadows liked the icons I made for him. I completely understand if he doesn't use it, but I wish I could get some confirmation so that if in the event he hates it, I can use it for my other projects. But that's that.

Seeing as how I've typed so long now, I have one more thing to say - since I won't be seeing Shadow Chronicles any time soon (but if I do, thing'll change obviously) I might actually push forward with a Robotech webcomic based on the Southern Cross universe. I might actually make one which would tell the story of the original Zor, and how Protoculture came to being. No, it won't be about those comics that the Waltrips made back in the 90's, this would be a one panel thing, and it will be very general. So, sorry if you were expecting Zor sleeping with the Regess, or Zor having dinner with his girlfriend under the moon of Fantoma or what have you.

Just so you also think I'm biting off more than I can chew, or that I'm all talk and no work, then I won't blame you. I've grown a bit lazy as of late, but despite that I've been making quite a few pencil sketches which no one knows about yet. More on my inane confessions in the future.
